Giuseppina Impellizzeri is a Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor practicing art therapy. She earned her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology: Art Therapy from Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and her Bachelors of Arts in Arts from Western Michigan University. Giuseppina’s background includes clinical work in medical hospitals and in community mental health. Her clinical work with the medical population has led her to practice with a firm belief of the mind and body connection.  Some of her clinical interests include coping with a medical diagnosis, anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief and bereavement, loss, depression, anger, stress management, behavior concerns, social skills, and life changes. Giuseppina has experience with young children, school age children, adolescents, and adults. Giuseppina integrates art-making and psychology principles to treat mental health concerns.
